Mel-Tec Commercial Security Shutters

	Double wall extruded aluminium security shutters for commercial and industrial properties. Manufactured from 40mm wide x 8.5mm thick extruded aluminium lath profile (weight 7.5 kg per square metre). Extruded aluminium double wall bottom rail with sealing strip. Extruded aluminium side guides with sealing inserts. Roll formed aluminium head box supported by cast aluminium head plates. Powder coated for durability.
Standard colours Our stock colours are white or dark brown. All standard RAL or BS colours can be supplied. Operation: Manual (spring balanced or gear crank operated). For ease of use, most gear crank shutters have auxiliary spring assistance. Electric with tubular motors
	Locking Spring balanced shutters can be supplied with internal shoot bolts or security key locks. Gear crank shutters can be locked by shoot bolts or key operated locks or by the “Mel-Tec” “Autolock” automatic locking system. Electric shutters should be locked using the “Mel-Tec” “Autolock” automatic locking system
Options: A full range of electric switches, remote controls, photo cells and group controls (for operating more than 1 motor simultaneously). Safety spring or brake systems for shutters used as doors
